Lost Romantic

Since releasing their debut single, Lost Romantic has gone from strength to strength, garnering support from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Rock Show and BBC Introducing South. The band formed 13 months ago after frontman Freddie Long met drummer Kieran Leigh and everything fell into place. Known for their dynamic stage performances the duo have already played two sold-out London headline shows along with performances at Lollapalooza Berlin, a showcase show at Sony Germany HQ where they were quickly signed to a distribution deal. Tipped by MTV as ‘ONE’S TO WATCH’ it’s not hard to see why fans are enamoured by the duo. Their latest release ‘Bad Intentions’ offers fans an insight into the band’s highly anticipated debut album ‘LOVEXHATE’ due for release 22nd September. With plenty more shows in the pipeline, 2023 is shaping up to be a breakout year for Lost Romantic.

Apple Shakers

Apple Shakers are an alt-rock two-piece comprising of Rory White (guitar/vocals) and Basil Steiner (drums/synths). Hailing from East Midlands and Zurich respectively, the duo crossed paths in London and although their musical influences were polar opposites, Rory & Basil soon realised that they both shared a common goal of railing against the political and social landscapes of their time, but also to give energy to souls that seek an alternative in a world of structures and formulas.

With a no-holds-barred DIY aesthetic, the band honed their dynamic sonic fusion of Rory’s gut-wrenching, caustic guitar riffs, led by his lyrically wry & acerbic sociopolitical observations – aided and abetted by Basil’s brash (Moe Tucker-like), metronomic beats & bass-driven synths.

Fiercely independent and with their own East London studio base, the band have released a series of potent, punk-infused singles since 2020, attracting the attention of BBC Introducing; whilst also embarking on a number of highly inflammable live shows and festivals in the UK and Europe.

With their eagerly-anticipated new EP (‘Blood, Sweat & Broke’) ready to roll out during Summer 2023, Apple Shakers are intent on giving the current post-punk scene an almighty kick up the proverbial… in tandem with breaking down the barriers between the band and their audience – “Because escaping isn’t only for Apple Shakers, it’s for everyone who finds themselves in a hole”.
