El Mató a un Policía Motorizado are part of the Latin American indie rock imaginary. Without them we would not have been able to sing “Jenny” with our arms raised, nor would we have mixed in the pogo of a concert throughout Latin America.
The Argentines are no longer unknown: they have been visiting the stages of the most important festivals for years, becoming bigger every step of the way. More than 12 years on the road are enough to bill an interesting collection of records that, although at the time they do not seem many, are presented as essential to understand the musical imaginary of the southern cone.
