Belfast songwriter Andy White returns to Camden, his favourite old stomping ground in London, with latest release ‘Good Luck I Hope You Make It’. The Irish Times have called the album “Poetic reflections on a world gone stark raving mad”. Maximum Volume, “Delightfully edgy … totally enthralling”.

What is certain is that ‘Good Luck I Hope You Make It’ is all about the bass, the beats, and the words. The London show is a rare occasion to hear these songs live, Andy will be performing many of them for the first time – plus, of course, whatever tracks you would like to hear from his back catalogue.

Andy has written with Peter Gabriel, Allison Russell, Christine Anu and Liam Ó Maonlaí. He has been produced by John Leckie and Donal Lunny, and recorded with Billy Bragg and Sinéad O’Connor. Famous friends, but the essence of what Andy does is in concert with his acoustic guitar, a bunch of pedals, a Fender amp, and a fabulous word count.

The last Dingwalls 2 show was rather amazing (have a look at the video of Andy and his sister Cathy in the ‘Discussion’ in this event). Family and friends and fans came from far and wide. This is a special year, the 40th anniversary of ‘Religious Persuasion’!

Good luck, we hope you make it.
