MaYuan Poet are one of China’s best-known rock bands, fusing British indie rock, grunge, dance-rock and electronic influences with the character of southwest China — restrained and delicate, yet angry and fiery. Their new concept album, Galaxy’s Glow (环星闪耀), keeps that rock core and adds a wealth of synthesiser textures, stringing the songs into a dream-film of interstellar travel. At Dingwalls, London, the band bring it to life: not just a concert, but a temporary country built together by band and audience. Sunday 29 November 2026.
