Fresh from their EP release this is promised to be their last show before the end of summer and not one to be missed. Duck Wax are a master class in Rock Funk. Thump in yer trunk drums holding it down in the back; a bass that rumbles out lines that could drive an 18-wheeler. Guitars flirting away across the stage, and all the time the saxophonist rains down heavenly fire from up on high. Described by some as ‘the mystic revelation of rock funk’, by others as ‘a jazzy strut down electric avenue’, and by many many more as ‘who?’ You most definitely need to come find out.
