Thursday, March 3, 2016
Dingwalls, Camden, London
7:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Please join us on the 3rd of March at Dingwalls, for a night of comedy you will not forget.

Featuring the award winning Jason Patterson (Brown Eyed Boy and Laughter Shock), the hilarious Tiff Stevenson (Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and The Office), the incredible Sajeela Kershi (Winner of the Asian Women of Achievement Award 2015), up and coming Elliot Steel (V and Reading Festival), the amazing Kerry Godliman (Derek and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow), outstanding Russell Howard (Russell Howard’s Good News and Mock the Week) and the formidable Sara Pascoe (Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Live at the Apollo).
Hestia is a charity, working together with adults and children to change their lives at the times when they most need support. We use our 45 years of experience to support almost 9,000 adults and children across London each year. We try to help anyone who needs us, whatever their circumstances.

Across our broad range of services, we help people find a permanent home, manage their finances, take care of their health, and access work, training or education, as well as providing emotional and practical support to help people succeed in their daily lives.

All of our services are built around the needs of our service users, ensuring that the individuals and families that we work with have control over the support they receive. We believe in empowering adults and children to have a voice in the choices that benefit them, their families and their local communities; to enable them to change their lives for the better, fulfill their aspirations and live the most independent, healthy and enriching lives possible.

We always look at other ways in which we can make a difference in the lives of our service users.  The vital funds we raise at events like our comedy night really help us to do this. For instance, £3,000 could help us fund over 70 one hour play sessions for up to 30 children living in our domestic abuse refuges over the course of a year. While this may seem fairly basic, these play sessions are vital in the healthy development of the children we support and also help the mums to strengthen their relationships with their children.
